Eleonora's Cottage
OUR STORY
Eleonora's Cottage has been in our family for generations, and is where I grew up. After the family moved away, we decided to renovate it into an Air BNB that comfortably sleeps 6. We completely rewired the house, purchased comfortable furniture, new mattresses and bedding, and large flat screen TVs for your relaxation. WiFi is also included.
The full kitchen is large and perfect for your family gatherings, and the wrap around porch is the perfect place to sit on a fall evening and enjoy your favorite beverage. We've also included a full size washer and dryer for your convenience, and provide off street parking.

YOUR VISIT TO MADISON
You are really going to enjoy your visit to historic Madison, Indiana USA. Madison is designated as semi-tropical, with mostly moderate temperatures. While you're here, check out the variety of architecture, the historic mansions, and enjoy a delicious meal at one of our locally owned restaurants.
If you enjoy shopping, you will enjoy our variety of cute, locally owned shops. We don't have Willy Wonka, but we do have handmade chocolates, a 50's themed clothing boutique, a huge toy store, several antique shops and more.
We are also close to Clifty Falls State Park where you can enjoy hiking, bird watching, terrific views and more. And finally, you can stroll along the beautiful Ohio River Walk in virtually any season.

Hello again, I'm your host Ruth Weaver.
I wanted to take a moment to personally welcome you to the home I grew up in. There are a lot of memories in this house, from births, to wedding celebrations, the thrill of Christmas morning, and more.
As children we walked to school, played in the fresh Spring air, crunched the leaves in the Fall, played in the snow in the Winter and had good times in the Summer. In updating the property for your enjoyment, I've tried to capture some of those feelings in the collection of pictures, knick-knacks, furniture and accessories. My wish is for you to enjoy your stay, create good memories, and come back soon.
Amenities
Eleonora's Cottage comfortably sleeps 2 - 6, and can stretch up to 8. You have a full kitchen, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and a full size electric stove.
There is a modern bathroom with a full size tub and shower. The back porch overlooks the lawn, and leads to parking in the rear of the house. You also have a full size washer and dryer in the laundry room for your convenience.
The basic rate is $125/night with a 2 night minimum, but may increase over holidays and festivals. The house is non-smoking, but you may smoke on the front porch. A disregard of this policy will result in an additional $100 cleaning fee.
